CRDA Office Set For Vijayadasami Inauguration

The new CRDA office in Amaravati will be inaugurated on Vijayadasami. Built across 2.42 lakh sq ft on 4.23 acres, the eight-floor structure is ready to open after a long delay.

It features a command and control room equipped with CCTVs and drones. A major attraction is the Experience Center showcasing models of the Secretariat, Assembly, and Raj Bhavan.

The rooftop will have an event space and a tall national flag. The building will also display the letter “A” symbolising Amaravati.

The office was earlier planned for launch on August 15, but rains delayed the final works. It is now set to open on Dassera.

MAUD Minister Narayana reviewed the site on Tuesday. He told the media that other buildings, covering 1.6 lakh sq ft, are also nearing completion.

He said the CRDA office was originally supposed to be ready by 2019. But the previous government halted all work. After the new government came in, tenders were called and the building was completed.
