Demonetization – Biggest Scam Ever?

While a majority of the country seemed to be supporting demonetization, Kejriwal shot his views on the Facebook live chat which are a contrast to what Modi said about the same . He said that Modi brought demonetization to only grow the black money in India, but not to demolish it and that it is the biggest scam of 8 lakh crore rupees.

According to Kejriwal, the introduction of 2000 rupees notes boosts the corruption and hoarding of black money. He stated that millionaires were given loans of about 8.5 lakh crores and the demonetization is a scheme where the government is making people deposit their money in banks thereby pooling funds for waiving these loans off.

This Cheif minister of Delhi showed his concern over the people suffering due to demonetization. He mentioned that weddings being dropped, patients at medical facilities facing trouble and the huge lines at ATMs and Banks reflect the inconvenience caused to Aam Admi but nothing stopped Gali Janardhan to spend over 500 crores on the wedding.

He concluded that demonetization is not the correct way to demolish corruption and black money. Also, only the strong action, strict law, and prosecution can put an end to corruption.
