Video’s of experimenting on 2000 rupees are going viral on the internet. Crazy tests are being conducted on the new arrival. First, it started with a message on Whatsapp saying the note loses its color if subjected to water.

Then people started to check if this is really happening and some tested if there is a nano chip embedded in the note by tearing it apart. In a video, a guy soaked the note in water for 3 hours, rubbed and then squeezed to see if it is losing any color. In another video, the poor 2000 rupees note had to undergo critical tests this guy did an acid test on it, not the concentrated acid, though.
Gandhi Ji kept smiling at them calmly while people were pressing the note, tearing it apart and even soaking it in coke. Finally, the note seemed to loose a bit color. After all, it’s a piece of paper.
This issue of Rs. 2000 note losing its color has been taken to the notice of Supreme court too. SC counter-questioned the proposed that, why would anyone need to pour water in the note.
