Why demotion for Harish and Talasani?

Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao, the other day surprised every one with a sudden cabinet shuffle. The promotions for his son, KTR do not come as a surprise but demotions for two of his trusted lieutants took every body by surprise. The crucial mining portfolio is removed from Harish Rao.

TRS sources say Harish himself left it out to decrease the work burden but any one with minimum political knowledge will find it difficult to believe. The biggest surprise is taking out crucial Commercial Taxes portfolio from Talasani Srinivas Yadav and giving him non-important portfolios like Fisheries, Dairy development etc.

Talasani is the most vocal voice in KCR’s cabinet especially when countering TDP on the issues pertaining to Telangana as well as inter state issues. But KCR mercilessly demoted him. There is a buzz that the CM have information about Talasani’s son and his men are resorting to corruption misusing the Commercial taxes portfolio. However this comes as a huge disappointment for Talasani.
