Did BJP Mislead Pawan Kalyan or Did Pawan Kalyan Mislead the People?

Janasena President Pawan Kalyan opposed the three capitals’ announcement of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and vowed to fight for the farmers. “Won’t rest till we pull down YSRC government,” he announced. Later, he announced an alliance with BJP to safeguard the interests of the farmers.

He specifically mentioned the alliance is to stop the three capitals. But the Janasenani says something completely opposite now. “BJP is in favor of Amaravati but Center can not interfere. Center did not interfere even when Amaravati is made the capital of Andhra Pradesh,” Pawan Kalyan said in a party meeting at Mangalagiri.

This is in contrast with Pawan Kalyan’s earlier statement. “Either Pawan Kalyan was misled by BJP initially to have the alliance or he misled the people to ratify his decision to ally with BJP,” a political observer read into this scenario. BJP had decided to dump Janasena in the GHMC elections yet Pawan Kalyan seems to be supporting the Saffron Party going by this statement.

It will be interesting to see if Pawan Kalyan will also yield to BJP’s pressure of withdrawing from GHMC elections. While the GHMC elections nominations are going on (20th is the last date of nominations), Pawan Kalyan is in Mangalagiri busy with Andhra Pradesh politics.
