Don’t Trouble Amara Raja: HC To Jagan Govt

The AP High Court has directed that the status quo be maintained on the issue of Karakambadi lands belonging to Amararaja Company near Tirupati.

The court specially mentioned that no harassment should be committed against that company.

In the past, the state government had allotted land in Karakambadi to the Amaraja Company.

However, the authorities have recently issued notices to reclaim the land as no work has been done there.

There have been allegations that Jagan Government is intentionally troubling Amara Raja because it is owned by TDP MP Galla Jayadev.

Representatives of Amara Raja’s company have filed a petition in the High Court. The apex court, which heard the case, clarified that the status quo should be maintained.

Amara Raja is one of the pioneer companies in the country. It is one of the oldest investments and biggest employers in Andhra Pradesh.

By going after the company, the Jagan government has sent a very bad message to the investors.
