Drone Academy and Drone Governance in AP

Tech Savvy Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who effectively used Drone Cameras to smooth conducting of Krishna Pushkaralu, is going to make extensive use of the technology for the real-time governance. Naidu had deployed drones to Polavaram Project site and will be reviewing the project progress using them every Monday.

Further, the Chief Minister is of the opinion that an academy should be developed to impart training for the maintenance and operation of drones. The government is going to appoint a four-member committee to develop and formulate the necessary guidelines to improve drone technology and surveillance cameras.

Experts across the globe for Drone Technology will be identified and their services will be used for their better administration. The Chief Minister is planning to use Drone Technology in tourism, the agricultural sector, mines, forests, irrigation projects, maintenance of law and order, and better municipal administration.
