
The PPA opined that there is no need for the cancellation of the tenders and calling for Re-tenders. The PPA said that this step will lead to cost escalation and will also delay the project construction. The PPA already confirmed that the Central Government will not bear the cost escalation if any.
The State Government had decided a date for the re-tenders even before the PPA submitted the report of their meeting with the State Officials. The PPA asked the State Government to at least hold the process until they submit the report and the central government takes a decision on it.
