The Opposition in Telangana has got a major fillip due to the recent MP Elections. BJP and Congress managed to win Seven MP seats stunning the ruling TRS. PCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy won as MP and he had to vacate his Huzoornagar constituency. Byelection will be imminent as a result.

There is a severe discussion in TRS to field KCR’s Daughter Kavitha from this seat. She just faced a stunning defeat from Nizamabad. However, if she gets defeated from there as well, it will be danger bells ringing too loud for the Ruling Party. Congress is all charged up for this challenge.

Also such a move will showcase TRS as desperate for Power for everyone in KCR’s Family. So, KCR is giving a thought about how to handle this situation. Kavitha getting defeated that too in the hands of a BJP Candidate is something which the TRS Boss could not digest and his ego is not allowing him to play safe.

Former MLA N Padmavathi Reddy, Uttam’s wife, is the front runner to get party ticket in the bypolls. She lost from Kodad Assembly Segment in 2018 Assembly Elections. Given that Huzoornagar is a stronghold of Uttam, the high command will be in favour of giving his wife a chance in this byelection.
