Employees Tear-Eyed with Locals’ Love in Amaravati

The interim secretariat of Andhra Pradesh government opened the other day in Velagapudi. As few departments have made their way to the newly constructed secretariat building. While the employees have their own inhibitions about life in Amaravati, farmers thronged to the secretariat building in large numbers.

Virtually the ground floor of the temporary Secretariat building is flocked with farmers and their family members. The locals queued up to offer bouquets to the ministers, officials and employees. Every one in the capital area believe that the administration shift will be a game changer for their future and the area.

Similar situation exists in the rented offices in Krishna and Guntur districts. Locals have flocked to the offices offering all possible help to the employees. The entire administration shift will be completed by August end. The state government is shifting all its employees in phases starting from the first batch which shifted few days ago.
