The re-polling was also conducted at polling booth no 244 under Guntur West Assembly and Parliament segments. Normally, the Voting Percentage goes down in Repolling but this is not the case here. Except for the two booths in Guntur West and Kovvur, all the Booths registered more than 80% Voting.
Even the booths with the least voter turnout registered around 75% Voting. The highest is the Polling Station under Narasaraopeta constituency which polled around 89% Voting. The Polling started on a slow note due to the high temperatures but picked up towards the end of the day. This high voter turnout indicates how the parties have taken these elections seriously.
