FACT CHECK: Was Dil Raju taken to the ED Office?

Social Media is full of misinformation about the IT Raids on Tollywood Producers. Today is the Fourth Day of the Raids and the Department is yet to make a statement and so, the speculations are on.

Today, there is a video of Dil Raju getting into the Department Car.

Social Media is rife with misinformation, including the claim that the department found GST Evasion, especially in Game Changer movie collections, and is taking him to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office.

The fact is that as a part of the checks, IT officials took Dil Raju to the office of his production company Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC).

After seizing several documents from Dil Raju’s residence, they took him to his office in Sagar Society in their vehicle.

IT officials are also conducting searches at the SVC office.

Today is the fourth day of the raids. We will have to see if the Department will make a statement of their findings after the conclusion of the raids.

In the video, Dil Raju looked cheerful, and there was no tension on his face. There have also been raids on Tollywood production Houses previously, but there have been no big lapses or sensational developments. This one will probably end similarly. If there are any discrepancies, fines will be levied at most.
