Failed App, Hyderabad Techie commits suicide

Lucky Gupta Agarwal, a resident of DK Road, Ameerpet ended his life by inhaling nitrogen gas at his house after he found that a social networking application that he developed failed to take off. He left a suicide note behind saying that he decided to inhale nitrogen gas to end his life without any pain.

His parents found him dead on Wednesday afternoon and informed police. The officials have seized a three-feet-long nitrogen cylinder with a pipe connected to the face mask. Lucky reportedly purchased the Nitrogen cylinder few days ago. The police also found that the techie did intense research online on ‘how to commit suicide without pain’.

The unexpected event shook the parents and left them in terrible grief. Police have shifted his body for postmortem and a case of suspicious death was registered under section 174 of the CrPC
