During the press meet, the media persons asked about the fate of Rushikonda Palace which is dubbed as the monument of corruption in Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrababu sought suggestions from the media and citizens for the same.

“Suggest me something to implement such that people like these (YS Jagan) would be kept away from society permanently,” said Chandrababu.

CBN also added saying, “It is a known fact that the government is running short of funds. They spent 500 Cr to build a Rushikonda palace by demolishing the hill. The Rushikonda hill is considered to be a hot spot for tourists. It is also considered sacred. But, they demolished the hill environmentally and built a palace.”

However, the YSRCP leaders defended the construction of the palace and advised the government that they should lease it for a star hotel.
