Feel Pity, Jagan Do Not Know More Than That

With no focus on infrastructure, investments, and job creation, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is left only with freebies to boast about. In five years of his rule so far, he kept everything aside and focused only on taking loans and giving freebies.

As a result, Andhra Pradesh is at the bottom of the table in all the key parameters of development.

Freebies have become the single-point agenda for Jagan in this election. He is worried that people will fall for the enhanced welfare schemes Chandrababu is promising.

Speaking at the Volunteers Felicitation program at Phirangipuram in the Guntur district, Jagan urged people not to believe Chandrababu’s promises of increasing welfare schemes.

“With utmost difficulty, we are spending 70,000 crores a year for the people. Chandrababu says he will give 1,26,000 Crores. People should think if this will happen. All these are false promises. People should realize,” Jagan said.

Yes, pooling in funds for welfare schemes is very difficult. It gets even more difficult when your revenues are not directly proportional to your spending.

Jagan Mohan Reddy lacks that approach. In the five years of tenure, there is zero focus on Development and Investments.

If there is good infrastructure, investors will come and invest in Andhra Pradesh. The companies will pay taxes and jobs will be created. The people who benefit from those jobs will spend more and the government will again earn well from their taxes. This cycle is totally missing.

Jagan as the Chief Minister did not even go abroad pitching for investments.

We have seen only one Global Investors Summit in Vishakapatnam which is only a publicity stunt and did not yield any investments.

So Jagan’s 70,000 Crore should totally come from loans which will obviously have limits.

But Chandrababu’s track record is different. With Hyderabad and investments like Kia in a Bifurcated state, he proved how he can generate wealth.

But Jagan will never understand it. As per his understanding, it is difficult for him to get 70,000 Crore loans and it will be impossible for Chandrababu to get 1,26,000 Crore.
