Final blow on AP's Special Status hopes!

Few months ago, we have seen Prime Minister Narendra Modi calling AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Niti Aayog Vice President, Arvind Panagariya. After the meeting, Jaitley informed media that the Prime Minister instructed Niti Aayog to come up with a road map on Special Status and Special Package promised to the state.

Venkaiah Naidu on many occasions reiterated that the issue of Special Status is being examined by Niti Aayog. But all this seem to be farce. Niti Aayog member Vijay Kumar Saaraswath is in Hyderabad the other day and speaking there, he clarified that Niti Aayog is not preparing any report on Special Status for AP.

He even went on to say it is important to give more funds to financially troubled states than Special Status and Special Package. Finally he gave an eye wash statement that center is fully aware of bifurcation losses to AP. So the center is cheating AP people all these days!!!
