Fire Breaks Out in Telangana CM KCR Helicopter

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is addressing a series of public meetings on his to be formed Farmer Coordination Committees. He is in Karimnagar this morning and took a chopper to goto the next meeting. But then all of the sudden fire has erupted in the Chopper.

His security personnel got alerted immediately and landed it. They have found that the fire is from a bag kept in the chopper and the short-circuit of the Wireless set is the reason for the fire. They threw the bag 100 meters away and the CM continued his flight.

Security Personnel opined it could have been dangerous if the fire happened mid-air. Finance Minister Eetela Rajender is also accompanying the Chief Minister KCR in the chopper. Such incidents are scaring Telugu people after the unfortunate air accident in 2009 in which the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Rajasekhara Reddy breathed his last.
