The election battle has started in Andhra Pradesh with the commencement of the postal ballot voting the other day. Speaking about the same, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu hinted at a clear wave in support of the TDP+ alliance.
‘The postal ballot voting has started and all of the employees have one thing to say- they want TDP government in Andhra Pradesh as they are vexed with this useless YCP government. The wave is very clear. YCP is trying yo spend hundreds of crores to lure the postal ballot votes but the fate is decided as the employees are clearly with TDP+ alliance.” Chandrababu said.
The TDP chief even added the example of a female employee to strengthen his argument. “A female employee was offered Rs 5000 for her vote by these YCP goons but she outrightly rejected it and came to the TDP camp and in turn offered Rs 10,000 from her pocket to help TDP with the campaign. This is the kind of anti-incumbency in AP and the overwhelming wave in support of TDP.”
Naidu’s confident statement on TDP+ alliance sweeping the AP, right from the postal ballot polling sets the stage for an intense electoral battle. If this josh is carried in the polling on 13 May, then a landslide victory for TDP-JSP-BJP alliance could be a mere formality.
