First International Consulate in Andhra Pradesh

Kia Motors coming to Andhra Pradesh has opened floodgates to several Korean Companies. Many Auxillary companies are coming up around the site of Kia Motors. The state government is in talks with various other Korean companies.

According to an estimate, 2000 employees of Korea will be working in Andhra Pradesh when many of these companies will be functional. Skilled and Eligible People in AP will also get to work in Korea later on in the mother companies there.

To facilitate them, a Korean Consulate is being planned in Guntur. This will be the first Consulate going to be started in Andhra Pradesh after the state bifurcation. Once the formal proposal is put up, the government will allot the necessary land.
