First Return Journey: Velagapudi to Hyderabad

Andhra Pradesh government had shifted its administration from Hyderabad to Velagapudi from Third of this month. Most of the employees who have shifted to Velagapudi leaving their families behind in Hyderabad, came back to the City last evening due to the back to back holidays. Saturday and Sunday are holidays due to the Five days work.

Tuesday and Wednesday are holidays due to Moharam and Vijaya Dasami. The government had declared Monday as an Optional Holiday. So, Five Holidays on a trot led the employees back to Hyderabad. Some of them had started on train and some took the special buses run by the APSRTC right from the interim secretariat.

The employees are expected to come back on Thursday morning. Some of the leftover departments in Hyderabad will also be shifting to Velagapudi after Dussehra. Except for some employees to attend court and tribunal cases, and the employees of Section 9 and 10, all the employees will be shifted to the interim secretariat
