First Victory of TDP on the Ruling Party

Jagan Government seems to have come down on the pressure of the Main Opposition Party, TDP. The party has arranged a camp of the People affected by YSR Congress after coming to Power some eight days ago. Chandrababu warned the government that the Police should support these people and take them to the native places.

“In case, the Police do not care for them. I will accompany them to their native places,” Chandrababu Naidu announced. Accordingly, TDP called for Chalo Atmakur tomorrow. The Police have imposed 144 Section in Gurajala to prevent Chandrababu’s visit. Even then TDP announced that it would not subside.

Finally, the government bowed down to the pressure. The Police department has announced that it will accompany those affected to their native places. Incidentally, this decision of the government came less than 24 hours after Home Minister Sucharita termed those in the camp as Paid Artists.

This can be termed as the first victory of the Opposition over the Ruling Party. The affected are demanding cases to be registered on the assaulters. They are also demanding the transfer of the local police officials helping them. They are also asking for the installation of CC Cameras in sensitive areas.
