Five Years of Telangana: Truly Eventful

Today marks the fifth Anniversary of Telangana State Formation. The last five years have been quite interesting for the state breaking various myths propagated during the Agitation. The government aided by the surplus budget it has got through the bifurcation and a cash-cow like Hyderabad led Telangana through the path of Progress.

Schemes rolled out like Insurance for the farmers and Raithu Bandhu has impressed and became a role model for the entire country. TRS which has led the government in this five years term should be commended for erasing the mark of agitations party and tried an inclusive party.

Chief Minister KCR reined his party cadre well to ensure that there are no attacks on settlers during the celebrations mode which is a big success. That had a positive influence on the investors as well as the settlers in the State. Five years after the state bifurcation, TRS almost swept all the settler majority areas.

What happened towards the end of the five years term is even more interesting. It appeared like the ruling party is taking Power for granted and sensing a bit of arrogance, Telangana people have given a historic mandate giving muscle for the almost depleted Opposition. The five years have been eventful and hoping that more such years to come. Jai Telangana!
