Formula 1 Powerboat World Championship in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh Government has pulled off something pretty much impossible. Amaravati, the upcoming State Capital is chosen as one of the Venues for Formula 1 Powerboat World Championship. It will host some contests of the event from November 22nd to 24th.

Portugal, UK, France, China, and UAE are the other countries hosting the event. The tourism department has started making the necessary arrangements for the International Participants which includes Stay in Five Star Hotels, International Food Courts, etc.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu did a lot of hard work to bring this event to Amaravati as it will put the Capital Region in International Focus. The plan is intentionally kept under wraps till the final announcement to prevent competition from other states.
