Freebies Are Our Money: Man Reminds YCP MLA

CM Jagan is insisting on the Gadapa Gadapaku program for all his MLAs. The MLAs are reluctant amid many problems but are still going on the CM’s pressure only to face backlash from the public

MLA Sai Prasad Reddy, who participated in the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam program in Adoni, Kurnool district, had a bitter experience.

The MLA explained the welfare schemes implemented by the government for the beneficiaries in the 2nd ward of the town.

A person named Srinivas asked why the house tax is Rs.1600 for a small hut. The MLA asked the person if the welfare schemes are not coming.

Srinivas replied that they are giving the schemes because of the taxes they have paid.

The person asked the MLA to reduce house and garbage tax. The MLA said that it is not possible and left.

If the public has such awareness that freebies are funded by their own tax money. Those in power will not have the audacity of making tall claims and feel as Charity makers.
