Ex Rajya Sabha MP Vijayasai Reddy got another jolt. Just a few days have passed since he last attended CID enquiry. The CID has once again issued notices to him to present himself on March 25, 2025.
The CID had filed a case regarding the transfer of shares in Kakinada Port issue. The CID issued notices on March 10 and Sai Reddy attended the enquiry on March 12.
After attending enquiry for the first time, Vijayasai Reddy denied having any role in the case. He claimed that the case was politically motivated.
Sai Reddy said he just knew KV Rao by face and never interacted with him. There were no business transactions with him clarified Sai Reddy.
He went on to say that he knew Vikranth Reddy as YV Subba Reddy’s son. He also said he got a common friend to talk to KV Rao. It emerged that Rao added his name in the case due to pressure from an officer, said Sai Reddy.
He said he did not introduce Vikranth Reddy to KV Rao. He said he told the same to CID officials.
