The Income tax department is checking these firms’ payment receipts, account books, and contract portfolios, especially on the basis of the more expensive and rare items provided by them.
The raid touched three business locations of these companies in Hyderabad and seven others in Bengaluru where they analysed the available stock and recorded it.
