According to the new tariff, a cylinder is going to cost 66.50 Rupees more. With this price, the cylinder will be costing 1109 Rupees. If you are using the 9 subsidy cylinders per year, it will cost you 638.77 Rupees. This is really a bomb on common man who is already reeling under the pressure of heavy essential commodities prices.
The gas price hike is on expected lines due to the increase in crude oil prices in International Market but since the elections are going on, people have expected the Government to hold up for some time but it did not happen.
