Adani Bribe Issue: Lesson For Pawan Kalyan!

US federal prosecutors charged Gautam Adani and seven others in the United States regarding a multibillion-dollar bribery and fraud scheme. The US authorities allege that the group allegedly bribed Indian officials for securing solar energy contracts.

The indictment statement specially mentions bribing 1,750 Crore Rupees to the high-ranked officials of Andhra Pradesh Government in 2021.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is in dock for these bribes.

As Adani is close to the BJP high command, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are taking a cautious approach in speaking about the issue.

While Chandrababu spoke cautiously, Pawan Kalyan is yet to comment.

Keeping it aside, Balineni Srinivasa Reddy was the Power Minister during the said period. Balineni gave a Press Statement that he is not aware of the issue and did not sign the file. He added that it was passed by the then Cabinet and it is an attempt to push the responsibility on the entire cabinet.

This episode is a lesson for Pawan Kalyan.

Taking the former Ministers of Jagan’s regime comes with a huge risk. There is a reason why Chandrababu will be skeptical about taking such leaders into the party.

Pawan Kalyan being in a hurry to strengthen the party is understandable but he should exercise due diligence when taking such leaders.

Its not just Modi now, Pawan Kalyan has to consider Balineni as well while responding on this issue.
