The development of the capital city Amaravati was completely stopped by the former YCP government led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. As a result, the capital was turned into ruins in five years.
After taking charge as AP’s Chief Minister recently, Chandrababu Naidu assured to complete the works of Amaravati capital as soon as possible.
The government is also working in the same direction and is pacifying works in the region. In another proactive move, a gazette has been released notifying the government complex buildings that are going to be built in the capital city.
These government complex buildings are going to be constructed in Amaravati as per the master plan. A 1575-acre government complex region has been notified by the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA).
It was stated that notification has been done as per zoning regulations in the master plan. This public announcement has been made as per CRDA Act Section 39.
CRDA commissioner Katamaneni Bhaskar stated that the region surrounded by the boundaries of Rayapudi, Nelapadu, Lingayapalem, Shakamuru and Kondamarajupalem has been notified.
Reportedly, the Amaravati government complex will feature the High Court, Secretariat blocks, Raj Bhavan and a few other government buildings.
