KCR showers sops on settlers

Ahead of the GHMC elections early next year, TRS government had started showering sops on the poor in the GHMC limits. The state government is gearing up to waive the pending water and electricity bills. The electricity bill waiver will be to poor who are paying 100 Rupees bill a month.

This will be up to the tune of 428 Crore on the state exchequer. Government is also planning to waive off Property tax which is upto 1200. This will also take very big toll on the state government.

Since the MLC elections code is in effect. Announcements regarding this will come towards the month end. GHMC elections will happen in January as the court ordered to complete it by the end of January, the next year.
