Annapurna, Ramanaidu Studios Under GHMC Radar

GHMC has issued a major shock to Annapurna Studios and Ramanaidu Studios by sending notices over pending trade license fees. Officials found that both studios had been paying significantly lower amounts than required.

Authorities also discovered that some properties owned by the studios were not disclosed, which led to a large tax shortfall. Notices were issued asking both studios to clear the full trade license fees without delay.

According to GHMC circle 18 officials, Annapurna Studios owed Rs 11.52 lakh but had paid only Rs 49,000. Ramanaidu Studios was supposed to pay Rs 1.92 lakh but paid only Rs 1,900, creating a large gap in dues.

Officials further noted that the Big Boss Season 9 set was built inside Annapurna Studios without securing the required permissions. GHMC has now demanded proper compliance from both studios.
