GHMC very soon turning into e-GHMC!

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is all set to embrace technology completely. GHMC commissioner Somesh Kumar has decided to take up all the affairs in the corporation through online. All the complaints and applications filed by citizens will circulated online between officials and the movement of the application can be tracked online by the applicant and they will be also informed about the progress through SMSes.

GHMC is planning to introduce this system by December second week. The related software is already prepared by the National Informatics Center and the 3000 employees of the corporation are being trained on it.

All the officials are also give separate email Ids and the four zones and 621 local offices under GHMC are connected with Internet. A team of data entry operators are working on digitizing the 15 Lakh old records of GHMC.
