Gold Plated Mugs to publicize Make in India!

Narendra Modi’s government is procuring special merchandise like key-chains, coffee mugs decorated with 22 carat gold and shirt pins from private companies. These merchandise will have ‘Make in India’ logo and will be circulated to “foreign CEOs” at the Hannover Messe fair in Germany which Modi is slated to attend this April.

Narendra Modi was reportedly very impressed with the Mug and Key Chain samples manufactured by Tata Ceramics. Modi even put couple of mugs with a 22-carat gold lining with the Make in India logo in centre was sent to the Modi’s residence.

The government reportedly procured over 1000 such mugs from Tata and Titan for the event. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and 11 other Chief Ministers of the country will also attend this event to attract foreign investors to their states.
