Government Complex in Amaravati by December – 2018

Internationally famous, Maki and Associates have come up with the designs of Andhra Pradesh Government Complex which will come up in Amaravati. The designs were unanimously selected by the jury of experts. The High Court and Assembly buildings will come up as iconic buildings.

The construction of these buildings alone will cost 700 Crore. According to the Reorganization Act, they have to be funded by Government of India. The detailed structure reports of these buildings will be completed by April 2016 and the tenders will be called and finalized by February the next year.

The government is keen to start the construction of the iconic buildings by May – 2017 and complete it by December – 2018. The rest of the buildings in the government complex will start construction by January-2017. They will be ready by December-2018. Chandrababu Naidu is keen on these deadlines as he wants to go to the elections showing this to people.
