Government to operate from sheds in Tullur!

Andhra Pradesh Government is looking to setup Government Commissionerate and directorate offices in the upcoming Capital of the state. The state government also issued an announcement regarding this. Officials are on a hunt for Five Lakh Square feet office space in Guntur, Vijayawada, Tullur, Amaravathi and surroundings.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu already expressed his idea to operate from Andhra Pradesh in June. He wants to shift at least few HODs to the new capital region from the next academic year. It is said that government is planning to install temporary sheds in the first 100 acres pooled in Tullur to house these departments. The Chief Minister already informed about this to Guntur and Krishna district collectors and other officials of the districts.

Earlier Agriculture Market Committee Buildings, Medha Towers in Vijayawada; Nagarjuna University, Michi Yard, Laam Farm in Guntur were considered for the temporary offices of the HODs. We do not know why the government has changed its mind all of sudden.
