Grandfather rapes 2 year old grand daughter

A 59 year old grandfather brutally raped his 2 year granddaughter in Sohag, Egypt. The 23-year-old Merfat, mother of victim, slept her baby beside her father in his bed room. After that, she went to sleep in another room and woke for the screams of her child in the mid night.

She witnessed her 2-year-old Grace Ahmed, atrociously raped by her grandfather. By fearing for strict punishments in sharias laws, the mother drowned the baby in water bucket to avert the crime. She and her father charged with murder case. This will come under the honour killings of strict muslim families in the crowded Egypt region.

Under Sharia law, if a woman accuses rape she should produce at least four male witnesses otherwise she would be brutally punished for having illicit affair. The woman and children always become the victims of the diffident philosophy of medieval region.
