Hair Transplant surgery kills a student

Couple of months ago, we have seen a Hyderabad Techie opting for height increase and is now bedridden for months. Now a cosmetic surgery had ended the life of a student in Chennai. The victim is a final-year Madras Medical College student who is no more after going for a hair transplant surgery.

The incident happened 15 days ago but only came to light after his co-students lodged a complaint. Hence no post-mortem was not conducted. Doctors say that the death may have caused due untreated allergy that the student developed after undergoing hair transplant procedure.

Advanced Robotic Hair Transplant conducted the surgery but it is now said that, the saloon was licensed only for cutting and styling hair and not conducting advanced procedures. Tamil Nadu Health department issued notices to the Saloon and the doctors who performed the surgery.
