Health Cards to Employees turn dummy!

The Prestigious Health Cards scheme to Government Employees in Telangana was introduced more than an year ago. But the schedule is proving to be of very little help to employees in reality. The health cards are being honoured only in government hospitals now.

However they are of very little help due to the scarcity of specialists and necessary facilities in the government hospitals. Government was promising to take up the issue with private hospitals but the issue did not move any inch in this one year.

Financial constraints are hampering the scheme implementation. The government is thinking on the lines of charging a premium from employees and pensioners so that they can avail the services in the private hospitals.
