Heritage Foods clarifies Kerala Ban

Telangana government has intelligently come up with the issue of Heritage Milk Ban in the state Assembly to counter the Telugu Desam Party in the ongoing session. TRS members have mentioned about ban of Heritage Milk in Kerala State and alleged that the milk contains chemicals harmful to people’s health and demanded Heritage Milk to be banned in the state. Finally Heritage Foods clarified the entire issue in a statement.

“There is no truth in the allegations Heritage Milk is banned in Kerala. ‘Padmanabha’ kind of milk we sell in Kerala were temporarily banned in August 2012. We approached Kerala Food Protection Commissioner with all the relevant information that the milk is not harmful. Finally the ban instructions were taken back then itself. Even during the ban period, we used to sell our other milk products in Kerala. And even today we sell all kinds of milk products in Kerala including Padmanabha. All our products are within the standards of National Dairy Development Board and have no scope for contamination or adulteration”, the statement said.
