The petitioner has approached the High Court challenging the allotment of the most expensive land i.e., 4,935 yards in Banjara Hills for the TRS Hyderabad office.

The Government gave away the land for just 100 Rupees per square yard.

The apex court issued notices to the TRS chief and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, party general secretary Srinivas Reddy, CS, CCLA, and the district collector of Hyderabad.

The court ordered the counter to be filed within four weeks.

TRS is building offices in all districts across the state. Construction is almost complete in almost all the districts except Hyderabad and Warangal.

Although TRS has its headquarters in Hyderabad, the party leadership has been trying for some time to build a district office as well.

But then, the issue had landed in a legal mess now.
