High Court Notices To Jagan And Bharathi

YCP-led government of Andhra Pradesh has recently given an allowance scheme to volunteers, where they gave monetary compensation to buy Sakshi newspapers. This was tipped as an effort to increase the circulation of the paper.

This is against the regulations as a government can’t take any moves that support one particular media publication. And as a result, a case was filed at the Delhi High Court.

Upon investigation, the Delhi High Court sent out notices to the chief minister YS Jagan and his wife Bharathi Reddy, who runs the Sakshi media publication.

The representatives of the High Court came to AP CM camp office in Tadepalli today to serve the notices from the Delhi High Court.

Jagan and Bharathi will have to appear in front of the court for flouting the regulations and trying to increase the circulation of their own media publication at the cost of the state exchequer.

Netizens are commenting that it’s ironic that Jagan is getting court notices while he is already playing vendetta politics by orchestrating the arrest of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.
