High Court reserves Roja’s future

The Hyderabad High Court had finished listening to the arguments of both the sides on Roja suspension issue. The court was hearing to the appeal of the Assembly Secretary over high court’s stay over the punishment given to Roja by the house. The high court Chief Justice bench heard the arguments directly.

The court reserved its final judgement in this case to tomorrow. The high court will also hear to a PIL demanding criminal proceedings on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao for contempt of court. It has to be seen if the court decides both the cases at a time.

According to constitutional experts, the courts are unlikely to interfere in decision of the Assembly. On the other side, it has to be seen if YSR Congress will also boycott the assembly session tomorrow also in support of the judiciary. They have boycotted today’s session even as the house discusses the privileges committee report on Roja.
