High Court Stalls Ambitious Jagan Government

A Division bench of Andhra Pradesh High Court has given a ruling that the state government can not takeover Sangham dairy. Alleging corruption by Dairy management headed by TDP Senior leader, Dhulipalla Narendra, ACB has registered a case and also arrested Narendra.

The Government has brought in a G.O. taking over the dairy. A single judge bench struck down the G.O. last month and gave a ruling that the company directors can manage the company’s daily operations. But the government has approached the divisional bench over this judgment.

It has to be seen if the government will stop here or will approach the Supreme Court. Sangham Dairy has an annual turnover of 1000 Crore. YSR Congress after coming to power tried to displace Dhulipalla Narendra from the Chairman post but could not.
