Hold Your Tongue: Speaker to Roja

Andhra Pradesh Assembly resumed proceedings after the adjournment at 4PM. Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao gave chance to YSR Congress Nagari MLA, Roja to speak on the earlier altercation between YSRCP MLAs and TDP Senior MLA, Gorantla Buchchiah Chowdary. Roja started her speech by stating that Buchchiah insulted her as a lady as well as film actor. She also alleged that the Speaker is being partial and is ignoring the opposition party.

Kodela immediately reacted to the allegations asked Roja to ‘Hold her tongue before making allegations on the chair’. He stated Roja to put her issue with out making unnecessary allegations and insulting the Chair.

Kodela even offered to form a committee of 2 TDP MLAs, 2 YSRCP MLAs and a BJP MLA which will looking in to the footage of Assembly proceedings today and will decide future course of action accordingly. Despite the assurance of the Speaker, YSR Congress Party MLAs did not yield and continued their ruckus. Government alleged that Opposition party is stalling the house just to stop the important CRDA bill related to the AP Capital.
