Honda Coming to Andhra Pradesh

Honda Two Wheelers Company is reportedly at an advanced stage of talks with Andhra Pradesh for setting up its biggest manufacturing Plant in Andhra Pradesh. The company currently has a plant in Karnataka which manufactures 6600 Motorcycles per day.

The company representatives are already scouting for lands in Chittoor, Anantapur and Kurnool districts. The state government reportedly offered them incentives on par with what they have offered for Kia Motors and we are told that the deal is more or less finalized.

The project if materialized will bring huge employment opportunities and will boost the brand image of the state. The government officials are currently tight-lipped about the project and investment quantum to keep the other states at bay.
