How Did Chevireddy Get So Much Money?

Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy is knowing for distribution of free gifts to the people of his constituency. That is also one of the reasons for Chevireddy’s winning streak in Chandragiri.

This time he distributed Sankranthi gifts to 1.6 Lakh people of his constituency. Each kit contains a Saree, Pant, and shirt. The kit has a message ‘Long Live Our Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’ and has Chevireddy’s name and pic on it along with the CM’s.

TTD Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy is the Chief Guest for the distribution program.

There is a criticism from the opposition about how Chevireddy is getting funds for these kits. “Each kit may have cost at least 500 Rupees. That means 1.6 Lakh kits will cost around 8 Crore Rupees. How is Chevireddy getting funds for these kits?,” they say.

They also say Chevireddy is making huge money by illegal means and is distributing a small amount of that in the name of kits and gifts to buy the votes.

Chevireddy became the MLA of Chandragiri in the 2014 elections defeating political heavyweight, Galla Aruna Kumari. Since then he won two elections on a trot.
