Hunt Begins For New Master Architect

CRDA will be calling tenders to select the Master Architect of the Government Buildings Complex in Amaravati in the next 10 days. It is known that the government had already scrapped the designs put up by Maaki Associates after bad feedback from the people. Once the tenders are floated, the interested companies will have three weeks time to file their bids.

CRDA is hoping to finalize the Master Architect by December and the final designs will have to be submitted in three months time. The Architect will have to give the designs for the government complex which will come up in 900 acres. This also includes the designs of the Iconic Buildings like Assembly, High Court etc.

The remaining buildings in the government complex will be designed by other architects. The state government is also planning to arrange its own architect panel comprising of Top Architecture companies in the country like in the case of Kazhikistan Capital Asthana which will oversee the design work of the other buildings in the capital.
