The speciality about the Begum Bazar Ganesh idle this time is that it comes with 24 karat gold plating while also being fitted with American diamonds and ornaments.
The 24-karat gold-plated Lord Ganesha idol, adorned with 3,83,800 American diamonds, has been installed at Lichi Pearl Set Jewels in Begum Bazar on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
This is one of the costliest and richest Ganesh idols not just in Hyderabad, but also across India and this shows the kind of adoration that Hyderabad has towards Ganesh Chaturthi.
Apart from that, we have Khairtabad Ganesh, which stands at 69 feet and is one of the biggest Ganesh idols in all of India. Then we have the Balapur Ganesh, which is historically known for auctioning one of the richest laddus, which can cost crores of rupees.
