Lately, Hyderabad has witnessed a rise in car crashes, often involving drivers who seemingly under the influence of alcohol, speed on the roads and end up crashing or colliding with other vehicles. We have seen many such cases in recent months.
In the latest incident, an expensive car crashed into the grills of KBR Park last night. Getting into details, an overspeeding Porsche lost control and crashed into the grill of KBR Park on Road Number 14, Banjara Hills, in the late hours last night.
Fortunately, the airbags deployed during the accident, saving the driver from major injuries. Reportedly, the driver fled the spot after the incident. The police visited the location and towed the vehicle.
The police have registered a case, and the investigation is currently underway. It is suspected that the driver might have been under the influence of alcohol. More details of the case are expected once the vehicle owner’s information is traced.
Meanwhile, people on social media feel that these car crashes have become too frequent in Hyderabad and are urging the police department to take stringent measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
