Hyderabad: Married Woman Gangraped In Narsingi

In what can be seen as a major lapse in law & order situation, another incident of gang rape has happened in the city. The incident occurred on the outskirts of the city in Narsingi at Peeram Cheruvu. A married woman was kidnapped by the ‘robbery gang’ and was taken to Kismatpur.

The woman’s jewels were stolen and she was gang-raped in the car. She was made to drink alcohol and then raped. The gang drove her around for a long time, before leaving her in Gandipet. Later, once the woman regained consciousness, she went home and narrated the incident to her husband.

The husband immediately lodged a complaint with the Narsingi police. The police are on the lookout for a ‘robbery gang’ and are checking out the CCTV footage of the area. The police are searching for the whereabouts of the gang.
